Just recently discovered this great tool which is also available under Mac. It provides database connection to many database architectures, especially I was looking for Postgresql support. It also allows batch import of csv data, a short instruction for data import I found here.
For more efficient data import into Postgresql the ‘copy’ command is anyhow much more efficient and is documented here.
